Common questions
How far ahead should we book?
For July–August or school holidays, 6–9 months ahead gets the best choice — fleets publish next-season prices in September. Shoulder-season weeks can often be arranged within a few weeks of departure.
What does a captain cost and where do they sleep?
Typically €180–220/day plus meals aboard. The captain takes one berth — usually the bow cabin or saloon depending on the boat — so count them in when choosing cabin numbers.
Can we split the cost between couples?
Of course — most crews do. A 4-cabin yacht at €3,000/week works out around €375 per person before extras. We'll give you a realistic all-in estimate per person before you commit.
